Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) is a new type of engineering plastic made by chlorination modification of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin. This product is a white or light yellow, odorless, non-toxic, loose particle or powder. After chlorination, the irregularity and polarity of the molecular chain arrangement of PVC resin increase, resulting in increased solubility and chemical stability of the resin. This improves the material's heat resistance and resistance to corrosion from acids, alkalis, salts, oxidants, and other substances. The mechanical properties of the resin have been improved in terms of its thermal deformation temperature. The chlorine content has increased from 56.7% to 63-69%, and the Vicat softening temperature has increased from 72-82 ℃ to 90-125 ℃. The maximum operating temperature can reach 110 ℃, and the long-term operating temperature is 95 ℃. It is one of the few polymer materials that can be used for a long time at higher temperatures and pressures; Excellent mechanical properties, CPVC has a tensile strength that is about 50% higher than PVC and about twice as high as ABS resin and PP resin. Especially at temperatures close to 100 ℃, CPVC can still maintain strong rigidity and fully meet the requirements for equipment and pipelines at this temperature. Good chemical corrosion resistance, CPVC not only has excellent chemical corrosion resistance at room temperature, but also has good acid, alkali, and chemical resistance at higher temperatures, far better than PVC and other resins, and can replace traditional materials to resist corrosive substances; Excellent flame retardancy, CPVC has excellent flame retardancy and self extinguishing properties, with a limit oxygen index of 60. It has characteristics such as no flame dripping, limited flame diffusion, and smoke generation; The thermal conductivity coefficient is low, and the thermal conductivity coefficient of CPVC is only 0.105KW/(mk). Heat resistant pipes processed with CPVC have less heat loss and can be exempted from insulation layers; Polyolefin materials (such as PP and PE) may decompose when exposed to residual chlorine in water, while CPVC is not affected by residual chlorine in water and will not crack or drip. Bacteria are not easy to reproduce; CPVC pipes are not affected by residual chlorine in water, and their inner walls are smooth, making it difficult for bacteria to grow. They not only resist the erosion of all forms of bacteria, but also have resistance to general bactericidal chemicals. Therefore, CPVC is a new type of engineering plastic with broad application prospects.
Performance and Application:
Has excellent heat resistance, flame retardancy, solubility, chemical stability, and low thermal conductivity in physical and chemical properties. Therefore, it can be widely applied in the production of various heat-resistant plastic products, as well as coatings and adhesives
Product Usage:
J700: Extrusion method is used to produce various heat-resistant plastic products such as hot water pipes, chlorine gas pipes, sulfuric acid (concentration 95%, 50oC) pipes, buried high-voltage power cable protective sleeves, etc.

Packaging and Storage Transportation:
This product has a double-layer packaging, with the outer layer being a plastic woven bag and the inner layer being a plastic film bag. There is a product certificate inside the bag, and on the outer packaging
Indicate: manufacturer name, address, registered trademark, product name, product standard number, model, net content. This product is a non-toxic, non corrosive white solid powder,
Belonging to non hazardous materials; When stored, it should be placed in a cool, dry, and ventilated room to prevent moisture and exposure to sunlight; During storage and transportation, attention should be paid to avoiding contamination. The storage period of this product is one year, and after passing inspection, it can still be used. Although CPVC [5] is a polymer made from PVC matrix and shares certain properties with PVC, it is also a polymer with its own characteristics, which is particularly important for its processing. For example, the melting temperature range of CPVC polymer is from 400 ° F to a maximum of 450 ° F. Extrusion processing requires the use of chrome plated or stainless steel die heads. The extrusion die head must be well streamlined to ensure long-term processing and operation. The flat die cannot achieve satisfactory extrusion operation time. In order to effectively control the extrusion size of pipes and profiles, it is best to use vacuum forming technology. The extrusion equipment needs to be equipped with a screw transmission device with at least 40 horsepower. There are several screw designs that are suitable for extrusion processing of various well formulated mixtures.
Injection molding requires the use of low compression screws with appropriate export lengths. The material used for pipe fittings requires the use of pointed plasticizing screws. However, for low viscosity and high-yield materials, it is necessary to use machining screws that remove the sliding stop ring, and spherical anti reverse screws cannot be used. Injection molds should be made of stainless steel material, and at least chrome or nickel plated materials should be used.
